Korea - Divided by the 38th Parallel

The Korean War is often referred to in the west as The Forgotten War. Everyday life continues in the persistent shadow of the fact that a peace-treaty has never been signed, leaving the temporary agreement from 1953 still in effect. North Korea's nuclear tests initiated in 2006 have brought relations between the two countries to an all-time low.
